• Broncos move to 18-8 with defeats Marion and Moundridge

  • The Remington High School volleyball team hosted a triangular with Moundridge and Marion on Tuesday.
    The Lady Broncos took on Moundridge in their first match and won in straight sets 25-18 and 25-23.
    Rose Dollarhide served 17/17 and had 8 assists. Madison Janzen had 13 good attacks with 6 kills.
    Nicole Minder had 10 good attacks with 5 kills. Emma Hilgenfeld had 16 total blocks, with 5 being stuffs.
    Deanna Ingalsbe had 13 total blocks with 4 stuffs. Kristyn Wedel had 6 good attacks with 2 kills.
    Kylee Schunn had 18 good passes and 6 good attacks.
    It took a comeback effort and three games for the Broncos to grab a win against Marion.
    After dropping the first game 23-25, Remington bounced back to win the next two 25-21 and 25-13.
    Emma Hilgenfeld had 17 good attacks with 13 kills. Nicole Minder had 23 good attacks with 11 kills.
    Deanna Ingalsbe had 10 good attacks with 2 kills and 17 total blocks with 6 stuffs. Megan McNeill had 4 kills for the match.
    Madison Janzen had 25 assists and served 13/14 with 4 aces. Jasmine Ingalsbe served 14/14 and had 15 good passes.
    With the two victories, Remington is now 6-3 in the Heart of America League and 18-8 overall this season.
