Greenwell to celebrate 85th birthday

A card shower is requested for Harold Greenwell as he celebrates his 85th birthday on Oct. 7.

His family is hosting an open house Oct. 7 from 2-4 p.m. at 13722 SW 50th, Benton, KS 67017.

No gifts please. Harold was born in Leon. He and his wife Geneva have raised four children. They have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Harold retired from Beech Aircraft after 38 years, he was never laid off.

He is a member of the class of 1945 of El Dorado High School.

He served with the Army-Air Force during World War II. He has also been a member of Albert Pike Lodge for more than 25 years.
