The Butler Grizzlies Women’s soccer team earned two more victories against league opponents.
The Lady Grizzlies beat Hesston at home in 7-0 blowout.
Butler led only 1-0 at half time before a six-goal outburst in the second half.
Morgan Foster had a hat trick with three goals. Alyssia Salinas, Hannah Palomo and Alyssa Miller each had a goal and an assist in the win.
JeeHye Li added a goal to close out the scoring.
Goalkeeper Aisling Dyer was forced to make a save earning the clean sheet.
On Sunday the Grizzlies hosted Barton County and won 4-1 running their win streak to 12 consecutive games.
Abby Ponce’s double led the way for the Grizzlies in victory.
Simone Arthur and Alyssa Miller each added a goal to round out the scoring.
Hannah Palomo, Lamya Scott and Megan Snyder each had an assist.
The Grizzlies take on Coffeyville next this Friday at 4 p.m. at their on campus field.
Butler then will host the #1 ranked team in the nation in undefeated Hutchinson on Sunday at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex at 3 p.m. with Jayhawk League championship implications on the line.
