Community Thanksgiving planned

Three event highlights

1 The 7th Annual Community Sponsored (Pre) Thanksgiving Dinner is planned for the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The dinner is free and open to the public.

2 Last year about 1,000 people attended the Community (Pre) Thanksgiving Dinner. They served 30 turkeys and 11 smoked hams. The dinner is hosted by First Christian Church with a lot of help from other local churches and organizations.

3 For those who cannot attend the dinner, meals are delivered to those who are homebound. Anyone who is homebound can call First Christian Church at 321-4220 to be put on the delivery list.

4 Donations are being accepted for the dinner. To find out what is needed, contact the church.
