  • The Baby Gap Gift Card

    I get so excited over Christmas like I’m 5 years old and can’t wait to open the gifts under the tree.  The anticipation builds as you rip the paper away from the box and slowing lift the lid...then POW! Inside the box you see…a gift card to The Baby Gap.  What the hell?!?!  First of all, I’m not married, I don’t have kids, and unless they know something I don’t – I’m not expecting either one in the near future.  So maybe this was Great Aunt Ruth’s way of telling me my clock is ticking..uh thanks for the reminder.  It’s not that I’m not grateful that my Great Aunt remembered me at Christmas but maybe it’s the fact that it’s  the  reminder that I’m the only young person in the family without a husband or kids.  Like it isn’t already so obvious when I show up to family events by myself. 
     
    Deciding that I don’t want to waste a good gift card, I head over to Gift Card Granny (other site include: Cardpool, GiftCardRescue and CouponTrade) to sell my gift card and use the remaining amount to buy one I could actually use.  A few quick clicks and I’m on the way to purchasing a Tiffany’s gift card..because diamonds are a girl’s best friend.  Or in my case, second to my dog.
