Wellington defeats Lady T-Birds on the road

The Lady Thunderbirds jumped out to a 9-3 lead after a quarter but the Crusader offense found its stride in the second quarter to earn 27 points.

Wellington led Circle at halftime 30-24. The Crusaders outscored the T-Birds 19-18 in second half to hold on to the 9-point win.

Kate Wilson led with 10 points including two three pointers.

Jacy Gibbs had 7 points going 5-11 from the line. Talia Highbarger, Alison Kirkham and Katie Frankenberry each had 5 points for the T-Birds.
