Juvenile facing weapon charges to appear in court Friday

The juvenile charged with bringing a gun to El Dorado High School will appear in court for the first time Friday.

The juvenile has been charged with Defacing Identification Marks of a Firearm, a Level 10 nonperson felony, and Criminal Use of a Weapon, a Class A nonperson misdemeanor.

The juvenile is presently in detention and a detention hearing will be held Friday afternoon.
