2013 city animal licenses now available

Those who live inside El Dorado City limits must have a city license for their dog or cats, with no more than four animals per address.

This means four dogs or four cats or a combination of dogs and cats, but no more than four.

Each animal must have a current rabies vaccination to obtain the city license, and people must show proof at time of purchase of license. Sterilized animals are $5, those not spayed or neutered are $40.
