Martin, McCumber announce engagement

Mike McCumber of El Dorado and Janice McCumber of Benton, Ark., proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather McCumber, to Tyler Martin, both from Little Rock, Ark. He is the son of Karen Martin of Beloit, Kan., and Clifton Martin of Ellsworth, Kan.

Grandparents of the bride to be are Martha and Bill Morgan of Arkadelphia, Ark. and the late Conway Stone, and Edna McCumber and the late Walt McCumber of Wichita.

Grandparents of the prospective groom are the late Marilyn Petterson of Beloit and Robert Petterson of Beloit, and the late Patricia Martin of Almena, Kan. and the late Eddie Martin of Lawton, Okla.

Heather is a graduate of Benton High School and Lee's School of Cosmetology. She is a stylist and works at Kathleen's Place.

Tyler is a graduate of Ellsworth High School. He is a rig manager and works for Saxon Drilling.

The couple plan to marry and reside in Little Rock on May 4, 2013.
