Circle High School will be celebrating its winter homecoming tonight, as they take on Augusta.

This year's theme is "The Show Goes On."

CHS had dress up days and an Iron Man volleyball game tournament Wednesday night.  The senior boys won the student contest and then lost by two points to a dad’s team.

The king and queen crowning will be between the girls and boys varsity games at about 7 tonight.
The 2012 candidates are:

Vivian Dalcoletto – (Exchange student from Brazil; parents: Claudinei Dalcoletto and Marcia Dalcoletto from Campinas, Brazil; Host parents: Ken and Margie Kessler of Towanda.) BEST 12; HOTT 12; SADD 12; Winter Homecoming Candidate 12; Cross Country 12; Soccer 12. Has one half year left in high school; undecided after that.

Sophie Linsler – (Foreign exchange student from Germany; Parents: Eva & Ralf Linsler of Saarbruecken, Germany. Host parents: Paul & Jennifer Mastrobuono of Bel Aire.) HOTT12; Winter Homecoming Candidate 12; Cheerleading 12; Cross Country 12; Track 12. After 2 more years of high school in Germany, she plans to come back to the U.S. and study music.

Megan Walthers – (daughter of Cindy & Louis Walthers of Towanda) Gold Honor Roll 9-12; Band 9-12; BEST 10; Butler Youth Leadership 11; Forensics 9; KU Institute of Politics 12; Musical 10; NHS 10-12; SADD 9-12; Spanish Club 11-12; StuCo 9-12, Vice President 12; Vocal: A cappella 10-12, Madrigals 10-12; Mixed Chorus 9; Winter Homecoming Candidate 12; Cheerleading 9-12, Senior Cheer Captain 12, All American Cheerleader 10-12, Lettered 9-12; Track 9-12, Lettered 9-12; DSI Scholarship Finalist 12. Plans to attend WSU and major in medical technology.

James St. Peter - (son of Renee’ & Sven St. Peter of Wichita) Vocal: A cappella 11-12, Mads 11-12; Winter Homecoming Candidate 12; Football 9-12, Lettered 10-12; Track 10-11, Lettered 10-11; Wrestling 9, Lettered 9. Plans to attend a technical college for wiring and pursue MMA training in Denver.

Gage Walker - (son of Becky & Darren Walker of Andover) Blue Honor Roll 9-11; Aide 12; Band 9; HOTT 12; Winter Homecoming Candidate 12; Basketball 9-11, Lettered 11; Football 9-12, Lettered 10-12, All Conf. Def. End HM 11; Track 10. Plans to go to Bulter than WSU to be a physician’s assistant.

Garrett White - (son of Clara & Doug White of El Dorado) at El Dorado: Baseball 9, Lettered 9; Basketball 9; Football 9. at CHS: NHS 11-12; Spanish Club 11-12; Winter Homecoming Candidate 12; Baseball 10-12, Lettered 10-12; Basketball 11, Letter 11; Football 10-12, Lettered 10-12. Plans to attend Butler to play baseball; then to OSU for fire safety engineering.
