For those who love the Irish, the 37 Mile band is planning to revive some fond memories.

They will be performing at the Coutts Museum of Art for the Brown Bag Program at noon Tuesday.

Troy and Joy Pulver will be on top of the hornpipes, the reels and the airs, making the gears whine. Teresa Bachman will be along, making her melodic contribution, and Marc Bachman will be thumping out some bass lines. It’s altogether a musical chicanery for the audience’s listening pleasure. The Pulvers are known around the area for their dedication to Irish music preservation. Troy has been in a number of local groups; Joy makes her strings sing with her magical little wooden hammers. Teresa is a fixture in El Dorado. She's been at the Iron Horse, or one of her other favorite haunts. Marc is a more recent addition as the low note on the fat strings guy. Those attending are sure to hear a couple of classics as well as some of the lesser known gems of the genre.

The museum is located at 110 N. Main. This program is sponsored by the Coutts Museum of Art and the El Dorado Main Street Promotion’s Committee. For more information, call 321-1212.
