The Board of Trustees of Coutts Memorial Museum of Art announced that it has once again been the recipient of a gift from the Felix A. Cantrell, Jr. Charitable Trust.
This gift of $9,336 brings the total contribution from this trust to $22,266. These funds will be used for the museum’s Phase I renovation project to address the need for accessibility through the installation of an elevator.
The Felix A. Cantrell, Jr. Charitable Trust was established through the generosity of Jeanette Rudy, of Nashville, Tenn., in memory of her brother. The fund is to be used to provide aid and assistance to or for the benefit of handicapped individuals in Butler County and in particular the city of El Dorado.
Rudy’s association with El Dorado is the result of her past participation in the Governor’s One-Shot Turkey Hunt.
The Coutts Board of Trustees is appreciative of the continuing generosity of Ms. Rudy. These gifts are significant in the museum’s success in its fundraising for Phase I.
