The El Dorado SRS Service Center will host its annual “Get to Know Your SRS” open house from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday.

Staff will be available to meet the public, provide tours of the office and share information about SRS services.  In addition, a 20 minute video about SRS programs will play throughout the event. Refreshments will be served.

“This is the sixth year of Get to Know Your SRS,” said Cyrilla Petracek, regional director of the SRS South Central Region. “Feedback from our community partners has been very positive.”

The South Central Region consists of seven service centers covering 17 counties. In addition to El Dorado, there are service centers in Emporia, Hutchinson, Newton, McPherson, Wellington and Winfield.

“We are committed to continuing to strengthen our partnerships within the community and ensuring people who need our services know how to access them,” Petracek explained.

SRS provides a variety of services to support Kansans, including assistance to low income families and individuals with disabilities, adult and child protection, rehabilitation services and child support enforcement.
Pre-registration is not required. For additional information or to request special accommodations, contact Marla Cutsinger at 321-4200 x220 or via e-mail at   Marla.Cutsinger@srs.ks.gov.
