Dr. Ryan Glenn Davis and Whitney Michelle Wilson were united in marriage June 6, 2009 at the Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine, with Rev. Ray Belford officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Peggi Wilson of Marion. She is the granddaughter of Norma A. Wilson and the late Charles H. Wilson of Arkansas City and the late Eugene F. and Lucille A. McCardell of Longview, Wash.
The groom is the son of Dr. Glenn and Landa Davis of Shawnee, Okla. He is the grandson of Nita Wilkins and the late James H. Wilkins of Shawnee, Okla., and Julia Davis and the late Otis E. Davis of Satsuma, Fla.
Maid of honor was Jenny Brown of Wichita. Best man was Britt Chapman of Austin, Texas. Niece of the bride, Kealy Wilson of El Dorado, served as junior attendant. Nephew of the bride, Keagan Wilson, of El Dorado, served as ring bearer. Christopher Wilson of El Dorado, brother of the bride, and Drew Davis of Shawnee, Okla., brother of the groom, served as ushers. Music was provided by Heartland string quartet of Wichita.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at the Courtyard Marriott Old Town in Wichita.
Whitney is a radiation therapist at the Integris Cancer Institute of Oklahoma, in Oklahoma City. Ryan is a radiologist at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
The couple enjoyed a week-long honeymoon in St. Barthelemy, and reside in Edmond, Okla.
