Rex and Velma Milbourn will be honored with a reception celebrating 60 years of marriage.
Friends, former neighbors, and co-workers are invited to join the couple and their family at the El Dorado Depot, 430 N. Main, July 4, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Hosting the event are the couple's children: Clint (Sonja) Milbourn of El Dorado; Peggy (Steve) Thompson of Houston, Texas; David (Kathy) Milbourn of Clinton, Tenn.; and Frank (Michelle) Milbourn of Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Rex Vernon Milbourn and Velma Audine Wheeler were married on June 27, 1949, at the First United Methodist Church, Augusta, by Pastor Victor Majors.
Their four children have blessed them with 13 grandchildren (one of whom is deceased) and 16 great-grandchildren.
