Parker Reece Slayton, son of Nic and Sarah (Harmon) Slayton and little brother to Cooper Nicolas Slayton (3) of Derby, was born at 7:50 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita. He weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches in length.
His mother is a homemaker and kindergarten teacher and his father is a second grade teacher at USD 263.
Maternal grandparents are Harold and Linda Harmon of El Dorado.
Maternal great-grandparents are Gladys Morris and the late Dick Morris, and the late Charlotte and Harry Harmon.
Paternal grandparents are Judy and Dave Slayton of El Dorado, and Chad and Earlyn Scott of Derby. Paternal great-grandparents are Glorene and Lowell Redfern of El Dorado; Irene Kersey of Derby and the late Earl Kersey; the late Myrl and Bobby John Slayton; and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott.
