El Dorado, Kan. - R.P. and Jackie Simon of El Dorado announce the marriage of their son, Danny Simon to Xuan (Carolyn) Fu. Carolyn is the daughter of Baoyu Fu and ShunYing Liu of Xuzhou, China. Danny has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Bradley University. Carolyn is a graduate of the China University of Mining Technology, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The couple were married in Xuzhou with a traditional Chinese ceremony on March 16, 2008 and then spent their honeymoon vacationing in Singapore. They recently traveled back to the United States, where their marriage vows were renewed at St. John’s Catholic Church on June 13. They currently reside in Xuzhou where they are both employed by Caterpillar.
