Jessie Leigh Connell and Richard Matthew Riley announce their engagement.
Jessie is the daughter of Tim and Sheryl Connell of El Dorado. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 2003 and received her bachelor of science degree in psychology and family studies in 2007 from Kansas State. She will graduate from the University of Kansas School of Law in May 2011.
Richard is the son of Rick Riley and Pat Lanning of Alhambra, Ill. He graduated from Edwardsville High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor in science degree in aeronautical and aerospace engineering from the University of Illinois in 2007. He will complete his master's in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kansas in May 2011.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 13, 2010. The ceremony will be held at the Antioch Park Rose Garden in Merriam, Kan., with a reception, dinner and dancing at the Thomas Restaurant in Kansas City, Kan.
