Willis and Veda (Brenner) Long of El Dorado were married on June 21, 1959 in Rosalia.
They will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception on June 20 from 2-4 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado.
The couple's children, Mark and Debi Long, Tammy and Barry Carr, Craig and Carol Long, all of El Dorado, and Gregg and Kim Long of Augusta will be hosting the reception.
Family and friends are invited, and the couple have requested no gifts.
Willis is a retired electrician for Frontier Refinery and Veda retired from J.C. Penny's of El Dorado.
