El Dorado, Kan. - Norman and Nellie Woods will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 5, 2008. They were married at First Baptist Church in El Dorado by Rev. Ralph Matthews. Norman retired from Skelly, Getty and Texaco Refinery in El Dorado. After 44 years in May, 1991 they moved to Shell Knob, Mo. in July of 1991. Nellie worked as a homemaker and for Seeber Mfg. They have three children, Dwain and wife Liz of Clarissa, Minn., Nikki Greenfield and husband Jeremy of Douglas and Cheryl Woods, deceased. They have 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Their daughter Nikki and grandaughter Christa are planning a family gathering at the woods’ home in Shell Knob on July 5.
