El Dorado, Kan. - Floyd and Louise Dimick of El Dorado will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 18. The couple was married in 1948 at First Christian Church in El Dorado, where they have been life-long members. Floyd was a self-employed building contractor and beside being a busy mother and homemaker, louise was also a Cub Scout Leader to Den 9, Pack 231 for 10 years and baked hundreds of birthday, anniversary and wedding cakes. Their union has been blessed with 4 sons, Fred, Glen, Steve and Lee; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A family celebration is planned.
