Courtney Wilson of Rosalia and Troy Robl of Ellsworth were united in marriage Dec. 27, 2008 at two o' clock in the afternoon at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manhattan.
A dinner reception and dance hosted by Mike and Laureen Simon, uncle and aunt of the bride, and CT and Tonya Taylor, sister and brother-in-law of the groom, was held at Houston Street Ballroom.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Syndi Wilson of Rosalia. The groom is the son of Terry and Shirley Robl of Ellsworth. Grandparents of the couple are Pauline Sheeks, Leonhard and Doris Robl, Mariana Wilson and Chuck and JoAnn Simon.
Matron of honor was Julie Gawith. Bridesmaids were Kendra Knoll, Brandi Eilert, Becky Plummer, Rhonda Curtiss and Nicole Harris. The flower girls were the bride's cousins Brooklyn and Addison Ternes. Best man was Josh Eilert. Groomsmen were Ryan Felts, Chris Braley, Chad Plummer, Trent Stefek, Jake Wilkens and Matt Anderson. Ring bearer was the bride's godson, Kaden Kahrl.
Ushers included Tyler and Seth Wilson, brothers of the bride, Ty Brookover, Nick Torres, David McAllister and Danny Philipi. Lectors during the wedding mass were Jacob Simon, cousin of the bride, and Ken Williams. Renee and Barrett Simon, also cousins of the bride, brought the gifts to the alter during the ceremony. Brianne Simon, Melinda Morgan and Kara Morgan, all cousins of the bride, were the guest book and program attendants. The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University where she received her master's degree in college student development. She is employed as a recruiter for KanEquip Inc. The groom is a graduate of Kansas State University where he received a bachelor's degree in mechanical and nuclear engineering. He is employed as a mechanical engineer with Caterpillar Inc.
After honeymooning in Jamaica, the couple is residing in Manhattan.
