The El Dorado Middle School will be performing this tale with three different actresses portraying Alice.

Anna Arpin, EMS instructor, will be directing the students and said she’s quite proud of what the kids have accomplished.

“We are all proud of the work that we’ve accomplished,” she said. “I have many returning ‘veterans’ (students who have worked on past productions), like Victoria Gricol, Erin Reynolds, Faith Hadley, Marissa Sparks, Rachel McLaughlin and Sierra Jacobs. We also have many students who have never been on stage before like two of our leads, Sierra Bonn and Brittany Eagle.”

Arpin said the kids are getting amped up as the show dates draw near and there is a sense of nervousness in the air.

“They are looking forward to performing for a big crowd,” said Arpin.

Arpin said she picked this particular production because it makes use of an ensemble cast. It has room for more speaking roles and solos, giving more students a chance to experience performing live and showcasing their talent.

On Friday and Saturday, EMS students will be taking part in this eccentric adventure and tickets went on sale Nov. 2.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

Adults are $5, students and children with an accompanying parent are $3.
