El Dorado police are investigating the stabbing of two men last night, said EDPD Lt. Justin Phillips.
Around 9:15 p.m., officers were called to 123 E. 8th on what was reported as a possible shooting. When they arrived, they discovered a 19-year-old male with what appeared to be a knife wound in his leg.
Later, detectives found another man, 31, who had seemingly been involved in a physical altercation with the 19-year-old. The older of the two was found with a knife wound to his back.
Both men were taken to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, treated and released after being interviewed by detectives.
"It looks like they got into a fight and both ended up hurt,” Phillips said. "I think it would be premature to talk about motives."
Investigation will continue and the findings will be handed over to the County Attorney's office to determine appropriate charges.
