During an investigation into two hit-and-run accidents early Thursday morning, El Dorado Police Officers found the body of a 34-year-old woman in a a white Ford pick-up near Washington and Kansas streets.
Two west-side El Dorado businesses reported damage to their buildings from apparent vehicle strikes, according to the report. Officers were given information of a possible suspect and description of the vehicle.
Then at about 10 a.m. Thursday, officers discovered what they believed to be the vehicle used in the accidents.
Upon approaching the vehicle to examine the damage, officers observed an apparently deceased white female in the vehicle.
The woman was identified as Kelly Skipper of Leon. She was transported to Wichita for an autopsy; including toxicological examination.
Preliminary investigation revealed no trauma or suspicious activity.
The El Dorado police investigation continues with interviewing witnesses and persons known to have last been with the subject.
