The community will have the opportunity to meet representatives from Kemper Sports, the company that will be managing the Prairie Trails golf course.
A public reception will be held before Monday's El Dorado City Commission meeting. The reception will begin at 6 p.m. in the lobby of City Hall, 220 E. First Ave.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., with one of the items on the agenda being Kemper Sports.
After directing the city manager to enter into a contract with Kemper Sports at their Feb. 1 meeting, the commission will be asked to ratify the contract between the city and Kemper Sports Management.
In other business, they will:
• issue a proclamation of the city being a 2010 Census partner.
• receive an update on the Hope VI Grant public meeting March 9.
• consider an appointment to the Convention and Tourism Committee.
• meet in executive session for the purpose of discussing non-elected personnel and legal issues.
