Michael Myers found an interesting word in the dictionary – or, more accurately, he found 10 words and put them in the dictionary.

It all started with Myers’ daily after-work routine. He gets home, lets his two Miniature Dachshunds Duke and Daphne out, and sits down on the porch to scratch off the one or two Bonus Crossword instant tickets he has purchased that day.  On Sunday, his daily routine took a delightful unexpected turn, when he revealed ten words on his $2 ticket and won a top prize of $20,000.
“I wanted to hide the ticket until I could claim it, so I put it in my dictionary under ‘M’ for ‘money,’” Myers revealed. “And then I put the dictionary up high. Doxies like to chew and I wasn’t going to take any chances.”

Myers, who is single, has two grown children and three grandchildren.  He currently works for A.J. Services and JCI Rentals in El Dorado, and is a retired State Corrections Official.  He plans to put his prize money to good use.

“I’m going  to give most of the money to my church to use for charities,” he said. “I don’t want to squander it, and it’s important to give thanks where thanks are due.”

Myers purchased his lucky Bonus Crossword ticket at Casey’s General Store, located at 1310 N. Main Street in El Dorado.
