Mike Bellesine, a pharmacist at True Care Pharmacy, spoke to the El Dorado City Commission during their last meeting to express his gratitude to the El Dorado Police Department.
He said he was there representing almost all pharmacists in El Dorado.
He explained that one side of their job is to prevent drug abuse.
They had an incident occur recently and Bellesine said the police reacted quickly and contained the situation within 40 seconds.
"At no time, we felt any employees were at risk," he said, adding how professional he felt the officers handled the incident.
