Budget issues will come before the USD 490 Board of Education once again Monday evening as they gather for their March meeting.
They have been looking at possible budget cuts and funding issues and concerns from the state.
During a recent workshop, board members were presented with a list of possible areas to cut so they could rank them.
In other business, they will:
• give recognitions.
• receive updates from El Dorado High School, Special Education Services, Partners In Education and El Dorado, Inc.
• receive a report and policy recommendations from the Extracurricular Review Committee.
• consider a partnership agreement.
• discuss facility planning.
• receive personnel recommendations.
• receive BCSEC recommendations.
• receive administrative reports from Norm Wilks and Sue Givens.
They also will meet in executive session during a special meeting at 5:30 before the regular meeting begins at 6:30. This will be for facilities discussions. They will then begin the regular meeting with an executive session for non-elected personnel and students.
They will meet at the Central Office.
