Members of the USD 490 Board of Education met Aug. 11 to discuss approval of purchase card requests.

Greg Butler, director of special education, submitted a request for Intrust purchase cards for new employee hires for positions requiring cards.

An increase for several pre-existing positions was also requested.

Mitzi Gardner, Chris Dunlap, Connie Unger, Mary Lippert, Brandy Ray, Pam Patterson and Stefanie Childs were those under the request.

Buster requested an increase for the limit for Brandy Underwood from $200 up to $500.

Underwood was recently transferred to Prospect, requiring an increase.

An increase in the limit for Lisa Arndt was also suggested.

Arndt’s card limit will change from $500 to $2,500 in order to cover her new position as coordinator.

Valerie Williams was also suggested for an increase from $200 to $1,000.
Board members approved the request.
