The Kansas Cattlemen’s Association is hosting a number of meetings regarding the livestock industry.

One of the meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Butler Community College Purple Room in the Student Union.

This series of meetings is open to the public. The meetings will cover the newly implemented Country of Origin Labeling, profitability and challenges in the cattle feeding sector of the industry, current trade policies and the ever changing markets. Kansas Cattlemen share many concerns regarding the possibility of Mandatory I.D., and this will be addressed as well.
