El Dorado resident Gerald Wittenberg is in the top 10 fundraisers for the MS Walk, earning him a spot in the Gold Laces 100 Club.

Wittenberg has taken part in the walk for six years now.

In 2011, the top 100 fundraisers from across the entire Mid America Chapter will be in the Gold Laces 100 Club. The last day to qualify for prizes and the Gold Laces 100 Club is May 22.

The current top 10 fundraisers have raised more than $11,000 and have all achieved the $500 Challenge, a challenge for 300 walkers to raise $500 or more for Walk MS 2010.

The walk will be held April 10 in Sedgwick County Park.

Wittenberg will be collecting sponsors up until the walk. Those wanting to sponsor Wittenberg in his walk can do so through the MS Society's walk Web site at www.walkms.org by going to Kansas. His goal for this year is $2,000.
