This year’s Prairie Port logo features 25 stars in honor of the festival’s 25th year.
The Prairie Port Committee selected the winning logo for this year, which was created by Justin Jacobucci, who works for the El Dorado Times.
“Our buttons this year are going to have a silver ‘25 years’ across it,” said Becky Wolfe, committee member.
She said they felt that would look good on this design.
The logo will be used on buttons, shirts and hats.
Jacobucci said he wanted to emphasize the 25 years when creating the logo.
“The original Prairie Port logo is so recognizable throughout the community, I wanted to keep some elements as well as create an original concept for this big 25th anniversary celebration,” he said.
This is the first contest like this Jacobucci has won.
“I was excited and proud to be a part of the 25th anniversary of Prairie Port,” he said.
