The El Dorado High School Alumni Association is hosting  drive to benefit Jan Brickely Thompson, an alumna of EHS.

Thompson is a missionary in Gonaives, Haiti, who was there during the earthquake and is feeling the "aftershock" of many of the people coming into her area in search of food and water.

The Alumni Association has started a drive to help purchase beans, rice, cooking oil and charcoal. They have given $2,000 and are asking others to contribute by sending checks to EHS Alumni Assoc. at Box 146.

A church in Florida is helping and a shipment will be made to Gonaives as soon as possible. For questions, call Kathy Martin 377-7696.
