William Gene Cartee, of Cameron, Mo., and formerly of Maysville was born July 4, 1946 in Amity, Mo., to William and Bessie Emalene (Smith) Cartee and passed away June 25, 2009 at Missouri Veterans Home of Cameron at the age of 62.

Thelma L. Workman, of Concordia, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia.

Robert E. Baker, 60, of El Dorado, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita.

Daniel S. Persons, 19, of Towanda, student at the University of Kansas School of Architecture, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 in a motor vehicle accident.

Wanda Smith, 96, of El Dorado, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Medical Lodge of Goddard.

Memorial and remembrance ceremonies are scheduled for Carol DePino Friday and Saturday.

William F. “Bill” Lehr, 73, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at St. Francis Harry Hynes Unit.

Debra Jean Green, 47, of El Dorado, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at her home.

Ivan Leroy Gossett, 87, died Wednesday morning, June 10, 2009 at Lakepoint of Augusta.

Betty Brunson Holladay, 77, of El Dorado, died Tuesday,  June 9, 2009 at the Coffey County Hospital in Burlington. The celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow the services in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.

William D. Kirkpatrick, 80, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Bob Dole VA Hospital in Wichita. Celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Episcopal Church in El Dorado.
