John E. Morris, 55, of El Dorado, died Tuesday in Wichita. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Belle Vista Cemetery in El Dorado.
John was born Feb. 22, 1955 in Iowa City, Iowa. He retired from Dillons Fuel Center. On Jan. 27, 1974 he was married to Janet Bestal in Independence. He loved working with computors and woodworking. He loved being with his family especially his grandchildren.
Surviving family include: his wife, Janet of El Dorado; son, Mark Alan of El Dorado; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Penner of El Dorado; brother, Charles of Newton; sister, Evelyn Surface of Independence; and grandchildren, Katie, Haley, Jacob and Addison.
The family has requested no flowers and asked for help with final expenses. Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
