Naomi E. Danner, 90, died Monday June 8, 2009 at Susan B. Allen Hospital. 

Celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.

Naomi was born Oct. 10, 1918 in El Dorado, the daughter of Fred and Goldie (King) Danner. She grew up in El Dorado and attended school here.  She was married to Orval Rose Aug. 21, 1938 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1977. Naomi worked at Beech aircraft and Susan B. Allen Hospital. She loved to knit and bake cookies. She was a Sunday School teacher at her church. 

Survivors include: sons, George and Larry Rose, both of El Dorado; daughters, Barbara Haines of Topeka and Connie Welsh of Alaska; sisters, Norine Sammons of El Dorado and Betty Carsel of Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Kenneth, and daughter, Sandra.

A memorial has been established to help with funeral expenses. Contributions may be left at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
