LaHonna M. Moyer, 67, of Augusta, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at the Andover Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 7:30 Monday evening, also at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
She was born on April 28, 1943 in Selma, Kan., the daughter of Arthur and Mary Lynn Canady. She graduated from El Dorado High School and had worked for Seeber Manufacturing as a machinist. She was married to Larry Moyer in Miami, Okla., and he preceded her in death. LaHonna enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, camping and crocheting.
Those who survive include: her mother, Mary Canady of El Dorado; sons, Jimmie McClellan and Scott McClellan and wife Terri, all of Augusta; daughters and their husbands, LyCrecia and Cary Garrison and Mary Beth and Ron Pierce, all of Augusta; her brothers, Phil Canady of Carroll, Texas, and Jeff Canady of El Dorado; sisters, Connie Blake of Augusta and Carolyn Miller of El Dorado; grandchildren, Mindi Landers, Jimmie McClellan, Jennifer McClellan, David McClellan, Richard McClellan, Mace Pierce, Sarah McClellan, Chad Izzo, Caiden and Jayda Garrison; and great-grandchildren, Bracyn, Charlee, Beth, Maddex, Jayce, and a baby girl on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; a son, David McClellan; and her father.
