OBITUARY - Lawrence M. Garver

Lawrence M. Garver, of Centennial, Colo., entered into rest Feb. 2, 2010. Interment Fort Logan National Cemetery, with military honors.

Survived by: wife of 66 years Violet (Dunfield) Garver; sons, Larry (Linda) of Morrison, Colo., and Steve (Linda) of Milligan, Colo.; daughter, Lisa (the late Philip Bourn, Nov. 4, 2009) of Lakewood, Colo.; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceeded in death by: daughter, Susan Taylor of Littleton, Colo.; parents, Melvin and Till Garver; and sister, Gen Fletcher (E.R. Fletcher) of Wichita.

Lawrence grew up around El Dorado, Leon and Wichita, graduating from Kansas State University in Manhattan.

Seven honorary pall bearers were Harold Hammer, Robert Patterson, Jim Gilliland, Deane Cavit, William Squire, Richard Prigmore and Col. Don J. Seed.
