OBITUARY - Michael E. Minor

Michael E. Minor, 39, of El Dorado, died on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010.

Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. today at the Central Christian Church in Wichita. Visitation was held today until service time also at the Central Christian Church. A memorial has been established in Michael’s name. Contributions can be left with the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home 704 N. Washington in Wellington, KD 67152. Michael Edward Minor was born on April 22, 1970, the son of Vernon “Joe” and Geraldine Hodo Minor in Tulsa, Okla. He attended school at Wichita South High School. Michael worked for REW materials as a driver and had also done roofing. He raised prize wining American Bully Show Dogs. Michael was known for his love for his sons and being a great dad.

Surviving to honor his memory are: his wife, Neshela Duke of El Dorado; sons, Tre Minor of Conway Springs and Orion Minor of El Dorado; mother, Geraldine Minor of Sedgwick; and sister, Kimberly Cordell of Maize.

Preceding him in death was his father Vernon Minor.
