OBITUARY - Michael ‘Mike’ LaFever

Michael “Mike” LaFever, 36, of Sachse, Texas, died Feb. 22, 2010 in Texas. The celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the El Dorado Christian Fellowship. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.

Mike was an IT project manager. He was born in Wichita Jan. 14, 1974. He graduated from the Andover High School in 1992. Survivors include: a girlfriend, Crystal Haddox; parents, Barbara Cary and husband Jim of El Dorado, Rodney LaFever and wife Debbie of Wichita; brothers, Mark (Tammy) LaFever of Rose Hill, Matt (Andrea) LaFever of Colorado Springs and Jason (Melissa) Cary of Rose Hill; sisters, Cheryl LaFever El Dorado and Angie (Matt) Jansen of Augusta; six nieces; and three nephews. Memorials with either ASPCA (Animal Rescue) or United Way. Kirby-Morris Funeral home has charge of the arrangements.
