Imodean Rush/Hadlow, 70, of El Dorado, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at her home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Douglass Cemetery.
She was born March 6, 1940 in Melbourne, Ark., the daughter of Matthew and Della (Finley) Rush. Imodean was a beautician and loved to garden, plant flowers, cook, do crafts and paint. On April 18, 1989 she was married to Maynard Hadlow in the Assembly of God Church in Augusta. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2007.
Those who survive are: her children and their spouses, Rick Asmussen of Andover, Margaret and Raymond Gomez of El Dorado and Linda Rangel of Park City; brothers, John and Veldonna Rush of Wichita and Hayden Rush; grandchildren, Chelle Gomez, Kelly Gomez, Lee Tharp, Michael Tharp, Justin Gaston, Jennifer Asmussen and Christopher Asmussen-Sehie; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ray Rush, Otis Rush, Ott Rush and Robert Rush; and sisters, May Hendrix-Fox, Ovita White and Unavie Brandon.
