Wanda Smith, 96, of El Dorado, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Medical Lodge of Goddard.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado. Viewing will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Carlson Funeral Home.
Wanda was born on Oct. 12, 1912 at Hill City, the daughter of Clement and Jennie B. (Hani) Richardson. She was a homemaker and loved her cats, doing crafts and sewing.
On June 25, 1935 she was married to Forest O. Smith at Lincoln, Kan., and he preceded her in death on June 26, 1990.
Those she leaves are: a niece, Dolores Hutchison of Neodesha; two great-nephews; one great-great-niece; three great-great-nephews; two great-great-great-nephews; and two great-great-great nieces.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, Jennie B. Richardson; father, Asabel Clement Richardson; and a sister, Alleyne Rose Hackney.
