Teresa Evelyn Spradlin, 90, of El Dorado, died on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:30. Interment will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
She was born on March 25, 1921 in El Dorado, the daughter of Glenn T. and Kathryn Lora (Fraise) Ridgway. Evelyn graduated from El Dorado High School and had attended college for a time. She was head teller at First National Bank when she retired. She had worked for Moss Grocery, Safeway and Graves Drug Store before beginning at First National Bank. She loved to travel, sew, crochet, knit, draw and do art work.
Those who survive are: son and his wife, Mike and Jane Spradlin of Bremerton, Wash.; daughter and husband, Pat and Dan Anderson of El Dorado; grandson and wife, John and Brandi Anderson of El Dorado; granddaughter, Rhonda Spradlin of Wichita; grandson, Mark Biggs of Bremerton; granddaughter and husband, Kathleen and Tom Dacy of Bremerton; nine great-grandchildren, Logan Anderson, Lily Anderson, Brittany, Lucretia, Alicia Rodiquez, Matt Henning, Jack Dacy, Adam Biggs and Joe Dacy; nieces and nephews, Leinie and Sol Evans, Laura and Bob Boyer, Bill and Lori Martindale, and Richard Martindale; and four great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Berneice Martindale and her parents.
