OBITUARY: Linda Mae Ott

Linda Mae Ott, 54, El Dorado, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, El Dorado. Interment will follow in Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1955 in Chanute, the daughter of William and Julie (Elliott) Daniels.

She was a homemaker and everybody’s best friend, helping everyone.

On Aug. 19, 1977 she was married to Floyd Ott.

Those who survive including her husband of the home are: sons, Eric and wife Oggie Ott of Wichita and Stacy Ott and Alicia Anderson of Benton; her mother, Julie Stout of Iola; brothers Bobby Stout of Iola and Steven Daniels and Lowell Daniels, both of Wichita; and a cousin, John Elliott of Iola.

She was preceded in death by her father, William; step-father, Orville Stout; and a sister, Janey Elliott.

Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado is in charge of the arrangements. Friends may call at the Funeral Home.
