OBITUARY - Mitchell ‘Mitch’ William Rupp

Mitchell “Mitch” William Rupp, 26, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m Wednesday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home. Celebration of Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Catholic  Church.  Burial will follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.

Mitch was born Aug. 22, 1983 in Medicine Lodge, the son of  Neal and Mary Sue (Underwood) Rupp.  He grew up in Medicine Lodge, and the family moved to El Dorado in 1996. He attended school in El Dorado and graduated from El Dorado High School. Mitch had just started working for Unruh Auto as a service writer. He attended St. John’s  Catholic Church. He loved to ride his motorcycle, fish, hunt, camp and sporting clays. He spent quality time with his family and friends.

Survivors include: his parents, Neal and Mary Sue of El Dorado; brothers, Dustin of Hoisington, Kan., and Jordan of El Dorado; sister, Jamie and husband Darren Klug of Newton; grandfather, Jack Underwood of Ashland, Kan.; grandmother, Frances Rupp of Hays; niece, Adalyn and nephew Isaac Klug; five aunts; and five uncles.  He was preceded in death by grandmother Mary Underwood, grandfather Alois Rupp and uncle Bill Rupp.
