OBITUARY - James Robert Jeakins

James Robert Jeakins, 84, retired Beech paint processor and planner, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010. Visitation with the family present will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sunset Lawns in El Dorado. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a past commander for VFW Post #112 and a Life Member of El Dorado American Legion. A memorial has been established with VFW Post #112, Wichita, KS 67212. James is survived by his wife, Willodene Jeakins; sons, Steven (Nancy) Sperry and Phil (Cindy) Sperry; daughter, Pam (Kenny) Adams; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
