Our city has many needs and concerns for our City Commission and City Employees to be taking care of........the ice cream truck is NOT one of them.
We are so very blessed to live in a picturesque small town in middle America where the people are friendly and there are many caring people living and working here who enjoy the lives we share. We can thank God everyday for the wonderful life we have, we can feel safe and secure knowing that when we leave our homes for whatever purpose we will be in a safe environment and can enjoy life in small town America. We can hear the birds singing and the children playing and yes, even the sound of the ice cream truck.......we do not have to worry about people carrying rifles or bombs or tanks rolling down our streets and live in fear for our lives and the lives of our precious children. The next time you hear the songs of that truck and the happy children, take a moment and be thankful....better yet, go outside and treat yourself and the neighborhood children to some ice cream!!!!!!!!!!! Let our city leaders deal with the important things needed to continue our good life we have here, and if you have to be a worry person, worry about something valuable.
