El Dorado High’s Christian Locke has signed a letter to play baseball for the Butler Grizzlies starting next season.
Locke is a four-year letterman and played centerfield, shortstop and catcher for the Wildcats. He earned honorable mention honors as a utility player in 2007, and earned second team honors as an outfielder (2008) and catcher (2010).
“He is one of the few EHS athletes who participated in three sports all four years in high school,” said EHS baseball coach Brad Long. “He will be sorely missed not only by the baseball team, but the basketball and football teams as well.”
Locke is the son of Chris and Alison Locke.
