A very, very long bike ride

Slovenia’s Marko Baloh rides through downtown El Dorado at 1:15 a.m. (CDT) Monday morning during the Race Across America endurance bike competition. Baloh was the third rider to reach El Dorado (which was time station 27 of 54 during the 3,000-mile trip from California to Annapolis, Md.), four hours, five minutes after Dani Wyss and eight hours, 16 minutes behind leader Jure Robic. More competitors will be coming into Butler County through Towanda, El Dorado and Rosalia over the next two days.
